Hayman Capital Co., Ltd has signed a new loan facility of US$3 Million 2-year term loan with Maybank Myanmar. All regulatory approvals from both the Central Bank of Myanmar and the Financial Regulatory Department of the Ministry of Planning and Finance have been received.

The loan will be disbursed in MMK 4.5 Billion to serve and support the economic growth of 15,000 new clients in 46 Townships located across 4 Regions as well as the new branches located in Sagaing Region and Shan States according to Hayman’s outreach plan.

This is a continuation of the previous two revolving loan facilities from Maybank. The very first tranche of Maybank loan US$ 1 million was received on 15 March 2017, which has reached to more than 5,000 clients in Yangon and Bago regions. This was followed by an additional loan of US$ 0.9 million from Maybank in October 2017, serving more than 35,000 micro-entrepreneurs and low-income businesses of Myanmar. The first revolving loan was thereafter paid off on July 2018 and raised the second round of US$ 1 million in August 2018, totaling to US$1.9 million loan facility as at FY 2018-19.
