A branch Opening Ceremony of Hayman Capital Microfinance Institution took place in Pyay City on 30th May 2018. The new branch is part of the efforts by Hayman Capital Co., Ltd in supporting business expansion of trading, agricultural, services and production sectors of the economy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Mr. Sultan Marenov, CEO of Hayman Capital delivered his opening speech at the ceremony; “we are very happy for our Pyay branch could be opened successfully. Pyay is the historical city and it is also one of main commercial cities in Myanmar. This is the sixth branch and we believe our branch opening here will definitely support the farmers and entrepreneurs a lot.
“Our financial service in Pyay started from April 2018, since the business started up to now we have nearly 1,400 borrowers and more than 415 million MMK has been disbursed. Currently, we are providing our services over 90 wards and villages in Pyay, Shwe Taung and Paung Talal”.
The Township Administrator of Pyay, U Myat Kyaw, who was the guest of honour addressed the invited guests. He stated; “we welcome Hayman Capital coming to open branch in Pyay, there are eight MFI in here including Hayman Capital. I hope it will help a lot for small businesses.”
Hayman Capital Co., Ltd has been rapidly growing in the Myanmar’s financial services industry more than three years. Since 2015 up to now, it has disbursed about 34 billion MMK and currently it serves more than 90,000 active borrowers and depositors.
Hayman Capital Co., Ltd (Microfinance Institution) is 100% subsidiary of the Singapore based Investment Company – Hayman Capital Pte., Ltd. The company was established in 2014 and it disbursed its first loan in July 2015. Currently, it has 6 branches: Insein, Thingangyun, Hlegu and Nyaung Lay Pin Townships, Bago and Pyay City. During this year, it has plans to operate new branches in Irrawaddy, Mandalay region and to launch new online platform system.
