A Grand Opening Ceremony of Hayman Microfinance’s 20th Branch took place in Nyaungdon City, Ayawaddy Region on 20th January 2020. As part of Hayman’s strategic plan to widen its network, the new branch opening is the first of 6 new branches in the Quarter 1 of the year 2020 to be opened while the other 5 new branches are prepared to be opened in February 2020. The 20th Branch of Hayman, the Nyaungdon Branch is inaugurated to outreach the local businesses from different sectors such as trading, agricultural, services and production.

Mrs. May Thu Win, COO of Hayman Microfinance delivered her opening speech at the ceremony, “We are thrilled to have our 20th Branch opened successfully in Nyaungdon as it is a beautiful city with major commercial activities in Ayawaddy Region of Myanmar. We sincerely hope that this Branch will greatly support the local micro, small and medium businesses”.

Hayman's branch network has now grown into 20 branches across Yangon, Bago, Aywawaddy and Mandalay regions of Myanmar, and serving more than 120,000 Active Borrowers and 145,000 Depositors as at 17 January 2020.

Since the first disbursement in July 2015, over 287,000 financially inclusive loans amounting to USD92.20 millions have been originated and disbursed to our clients, of which 80% are women-preneurs and 77% reside in rural areas.

Hayman Microfinance has a positive outlook with its geographical expansion to outreach at least 190,000 active clients via 10 additional branches in the year 2020, and to make further positive social impact across Myanmar.
